Finding True Community: What if it could be THAT easy?
An invitation to rise, not just into your own potential but into a collective energy where dreams don't just live in our heads but they become full-blown reality when we do it together.
I was never a “girls’ girl.” Growing up, I was the girl playing outside in the dirt with the boys, celebrating my toughness and grit. I wasn’t interested in tea parties; I was into sports and competition. My college years were no different—surrounded by guys who had my back. The idea of a sisterhood always felt elusive, foreign even. Then, at 25, I thought I had finally found it—a group of women I could count on, a tribe. But the moment I made big moves to chase my dreams? They ghosted me.
When I moved to Portland, Oregon from Pennsylvania, I was not just physically alone—I didn’t know a soul here—but emotionally alone. The sting of that false sisterhood I thought I had still lingered, amplifying the feeling that maybe this was all just a myth.
The years that followed weren’t any better. I went to networking events only to leave with a stack of business cards and zero real connections. Every interaction felt like a silent competition, a careful dance of comparison. Working in the service industry? Let’s just say that chaos and drama were served on the regular. Friends I made were more often than not drinking buddies, and I found myself trapped in a cycle of “let’s grab coffee” and “we should hang out sometime,” only to have people cancel at the last minute, if not ghost altogether.
I tried everything. Tears were shed, a blog was started and failed, and eventually, I turned to my podcast—a public diary of sorts—where I laid bare my frustration. I was doing everything I thought I should, and still, I felt like I was failing. I was so. Damn. Alone.
Until 2019, when everything shifted. I was interviewed for a podcast and found myself talking about an event I was planning—a community-building event. The only problem? It didn’t exist.
I had no idea how I was going to pull it off, but with the help of my then-boyfriend, a friend in the wine industry, and someone I’d met at an adult summer camp, it happened. And when the doors opened, 63 people showed up. Far more than the five to ten I had timidly expected.
The magic of that night wasn’t in the speakers I had planned or the activities lined up. Spoiler: there were none. It was magic because people came with the intention to connect, to get to know each other.
People asked me if it was an MLM pitch. They were waiting to be sold something. I wasn’t there for that, but I had one idea left up my sleeve. I asked everyone to sit and sold them on something different—a challenge.
I asked the room: “Who here would be brave enough to share their biggest, scariest, most sacred goal?” Three people raised their hands. Their voices shook as they spoke, vulnerability pouring out of them. I thanked them.
Then I asked: “Just by a show of hands, who in this room feels like not only could but *wants* to help any of these people take the first steps into making these dreams a reality?”
Almost the entire room raised their hands.
There were tears. Not just from the three who shared, but from me too. That was the moment I realized what I was made for.
Your dreams matter. They are *possible*. And sometimes, the only thing standing between you and your biggest, wildest dream is one brave moment, one honest conversation.
That is why I’m building this space. That’s why I’m here. I know what it feels like to be alone, to be surrounded by people who don’t get it, who don’t see you. But I also know the power of being seen, supported, and celebrated.
You deserve a place where your vision is honored, where people stand beside you—not out of obligation, but because they believe in you. Because their core value is to be *of service*.
In this world, we don’t win by outshining each other. We win when we all rise together. Manifestation and the law of attraction aren’t woo—they’re real. They’re energy currents that amplify when they meet like energy, and that’s what I’m building. A space where we do it together.
If any of this resonates with you—if you’re done feeling like you’re shouting into the void and ready to be a part of a real, supportive, soul-driven community—I’m inviting you to join the Everyday Esoteric space. This isn’t just another online group. This is where dreams meet action, where woo-ish womxn gather, where you are *seen*.
Because you deserve a community that has your back. You deserve a space where you are celebrated for who you are and supported in the pursuit of who you want to become.
Come be a part of something bigger. Come be a part of Everyday Esoteric. Let’s make your dreams a reality, together.
